In 2018, God met April in a very intimate and revelatory way, changing her forever. At that time, He began to prepare her to move to the Austin area to fulfill a dream He had planted in her heart. By the summer of 2019, April had been led to Bastrop specifically, and she has been working to gain clarity about why God wants her there and who He has her here for. This has led to her working on starting a non-profit organization that serves arts and entertainment as well as beginning work on her own businesses that she has dreamt of starting for several years.
Up until now, she has been supported primarily by her ex as she continued to help him with his business as much as he would allow. Unfortunately, some poor decisions were made without her knowledge, and this has left April and the kids without their primary means of support.
The original purpose of this campaign was to ask for help in covering expenses because of the loss of support, but now April believes that she has been asking for the wrong reason. She and her children are in Bastrop on a mission. Part of the process of this mission has required her to walk in a wilderness so that she could finally understand what it means to really trust the Lord and His Word, THAT THE GIANTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN DEFEATED.
The campaign originally posted that she is trying to create a stable home life for the kids. This is true, but what she didn’t realize when she created it was that being in His will is the most stable place she can be. There is no other option but to be here, doing all He set before her. Provision for that comes in trusting Him and living out that trust daily.
So, what IS April doing in Bastrop? As mentioned, she has begun work on a non-profit, BUT that is on hold until something else happens first. There is a person who lives in this area that God told April WAY back in 2018 to minister to and to work with. This person is the key to the ministry, not just here, but the world. While she has been doing everything she can think of while NOT crossing any personal or safety boundaries, getting the attention of this person has proved EXTREMELY elusive. She continuously stays one connection point away, and these connections have not allowed her to pass through them to meet this person.
This is the Hebrew year of 5784, and many prophetic voices have spoken about this being the year of the open door. Someone made sure to specify that it is not the year of many open doors, but the year of THE open door, the ONE PARTICULAR open door for which those who are waiting for open doors are hoping. In other words, meeting and cultivating a partnership with this person is THE open door for which April has been praying, and she has been feeling in her spirit that the time for this door to open is actually past due.
It was open in 2020, and she was about to make actual contact when everything shut down. This ploy by the enemy has worked until now, but it is time for this to end. The lockdown – physically and spiritually – is over. The Door is open again, and it is time to walk through it.
This campaign is no longer about helping someone in need, feeling sorry for someone because they are in danger. Yes, her finances in the natural are still lacking, but Father God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. He does this through His people, the Bride of Christ. This campaign is now about supporting the Kingdom mission that Father God has given April so that she can move fully into the partnership and the call He gave her a vision for in 2018.
